Prize Draw Rules

  1. Entry is by either using the Tell a friend link on my-shopping-channel.com or writing a review on cheapest-bargain.co.uk or cheapest-bargain.com
  2. No payment is required to participate – either to enter, to find out who the winner is, or to collect a prize.
  3. Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified! Entries considered not honoring the spirit of the competition will be excluded (e.g. submitting to unsolicited spam lists or automated entries that do not bring unique users who have read our message to our site). Every email that the tell-a-friend referral is sent to must be a valid email of a separate individual residing in the UK, British overseas territory, British Forces Overseas or US or Canada. You may use the tell-a-friend link on opt-in email lists owned or hired by yourself. You may use the tell a friend link on websites and blogs owned by yourself. For entries by review you may write an original non-plaigrised English language review of at least 100 characters on cheapest-bargain.co.uk or cheapest-bargain.com to be entered into the draw - one review per entry.
  4. It is a condition of entry that you and your family will be available for publicity in your own names including, but not restricted to photographs, newspaper and other interviews, television and radio appearances.
  5. Winners will be contacted via the email address submitted to our website. The iPod draw will occur when 10,000 sales have been made from our site. The Car/£50,000 draw will occur when one million sales have been made from our site. For the car draw we will also announce the draw on our website but for privacy reasons we will not be able to release your details until you hasve responded to you email. If we do not recieve a response within two calendar weeks will pick another prizewinner so we suggest that you whiltelist our email address and do not unsubscribe or you will not be able to collect your prize. In order to protect applicants from false solicitations anyone pretending to be us and approaching any member of the public will be subject to procesution under the UK Gambling act of 2005 which opens miscreant to a criminal prosecution and up to 51 weeks in prison. We will also aid each and every person told falsely by a third party that they have won one of our prizes to take out a civil prosecution against the miscreant to regain the prize value from the miscreant.  Sales are  defined as those audited through the third party company Digital Window Ltd 
  6. Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries.
  7. You may only enter where legal under your local duristrictions. We can take no responsiblity for failure to compy with local gaming and other laws.Age restrictions apply where mandated by local law. In general this means that entrants must be 18 years or older.
  8. The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
  9. The competition will run until the prize draw when the one millionth sale has been made.
  10. my-shopping-channel.com or any associate company or entry will not be responsible for entry loss due to data loss or hacking on our site
  11. my-shopping-channel.com is compliant with the data protection act. Our policy is such that we will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent. 
  12. The draw will be subject to UK Law.
